Neflix Website Down Outage

Popular online movie rental service Netflix experienced a service outage tonight, prompting viewers around the United States to ask what the problem was and when it would be fixed.

OUTAGE? Twitter is a buzz over a Netflix outage with chatter that Netflix is down. Is it for maintenance? Http/1.1 Service Unavailable is the error that Netflix users are getting. But the outage appears to have ended.

The swarm of tweets over the Netflix outage are now at roughly one per 10 minutes, up in the last 60 minutes.

One user reports it’s working for them:”Netflix is up for me- maybe a partial outage? 5 minutes ago from web” while another says it is down: “Netflix DOWN: Website Experiencing Outage, ‘Service Unavailable’”

Another tweets the same: “Website … Outage, Service Unavailable”

Yesterday, for nearly two hours millions of bloggers twiddled their fingers yesterday thanks to an outage at WordPress, which hosts millions of blogs!

Personally, I've decided to use satellite directTV instead of watch movies with Netflix, by getting over 3500 HD channels I'm able to watch whatever I want to and without outage.
